What is readyDJ?

Well, if you are a DJ, radio producer, audio engineer or any other job that plays live audio, readyDJ will make your job EXTREMELY easy.

Trigger your sounds using HOT KEYS. Imagine being able to use your keyboard as an audio switcher board, cueing sound effects, music, voice over or any other audio source at the touch of a key, instantaneously, without loading or lag time.

Import any wav, mp3, au or aiff file (RealMedia audio support coming soon) and select a key (a-z and 0-9 or it's SHIFT value) to associate with the sound, it is that easy! Enter "Switcher" mode and all imported sounds are right at your fingertips. Toggle the SHIFT key to change the state of the keys and the sounds linked to them. No more fumbling with a mouse to select and play songs with a conventional digital media player. Save your set lists to be loaded "on the fly". What that amounts to is the ability to save an unlimited amount of set lists with up to 72 sounds per set!

All of that sounds AWESOME, but it is just the beginning of the functions available in readyDJ. Use the "Mixer" function to cue and mix up to 8 sounds simultaneously. Control individual volume and fading settings for each sound channel. There's even a crossfade function.

This is just the beginning of what you can do with readyDJ. There's a Jukebox function that allows you to just load a set and play it out start to finish. You can shuffle the play order or even program readyDJ to play only the songs that you select.
